E-signatures from people you haven't met yet.

Sending a document works when you know who signs it. A gym, a tour company, or an event doesn't: people walk in, book online, or turn up on the day. A public signing link lets them bring their own name and email, and each person signs a separate copy with its own Certificate of Completion.

  • No clipboards to scan
  • No forms to retype
  • No list of email addresses to collect first

  2. Sign on their phone

Nothing to print, scan, or retype. Each person's copy is saved for you.

Three ways to share it.

Send the link

Add it to booking confirmations, emails, text messages, your link in bio, or a social post.

Print the QR code

Download it for a front desk, poster, table tent, or clipboard. People scan it and sign on their own phone. It never expires on its own.

Add a button to your website

Copy the code for a Sign now button and paste it into Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, or any site. It opens your signing link in a new tab.

How a public signing link works.

  1. Step 1

Save your document as a template

Upload the waiver, release, or form, place the fields the signer fills in, and save it as a template.

  2. Step 2

    Create the link

Choose Public signing link from the template's menu. Add anyone who countersigns every copy, then click Create link.

  3. Step 3

    Share it anywhere

Copy the link, add the Sign now button to your website, or print the QR code.

  4. Step 4

    Everyone signs their own copy

Each person enters their name and email and signs. Their copy appears in your Documents once they've signed.

Where to share it

A QR code at the front desk, or the link in a booking confirmation, so people sign before they arrive.

Online waiver forms without per-waiver fees.

Most online waiver software charges by volume: a monthly allowance, then a fee for every waiver after it. A busy Saturday costs more than a quiet Tuesday.

With Inkly, a public signing link is part of your Pro plan. Put your waiver on a QR code or your booking page, and every signature costs the same flat monthly price, whether ten people sign or a thousand. You also get e-signatures for everything else you send, from contracts to offer letters.

If you need check-in kiosks or a booking system that tracks waivers per visit, a dedicated waiver app does more. If you need people to read and sign a waiver, Inkly does that at one flat price.

You stay in control of every link.

  • Confirm email addresses. Turn on a 6-digit email code, so you know each address belongs to the person signing.
  • Countersign every copy. Add a manager, an owner, or yourself to sign after each visitor. Inkly emails them when it's their turn.
  • Pause it any time. Turn the link off between seasons and back on later. The same link and printed QR code work again.
  • Reset a leaked link. Issue a new link and the old one stops working right away, along with any printed QR codes.
  • See how many have signed. The count sits under the link, and each signed copy lands in Documents marked From a signing link.

A signed PDF and an audit trail for every person.

Each copy finishes as its own signed PDF with a Certificate of Completion. Once everyone on a copy has signed, Inkly emails it to the signer and to you.

  • Records that they joined through a public signing link
  • Shows whether they confirmed their email with a code
  • Logs the time, IP address, and device they signed on

See everything the certificate records in the electronic signature audit trail.

A Certificate of Completion for one visitor's copy. It records that they joined through a public signing link and confirmed their email with a one-time code, with the time, IP address, and device they signed on.

Know who's signing? Share their personal link.

A public link is for anyone. When you send a document to a named person, you can copy that signer's own link and send it by text, WhatsApp, or any app. It helps when an invite lands in spam, or when you'd rather share the link yourself. Only that person can sign with it.

Sending to a list of people you already know?Bulk send gives each person their own copy from a spreadsheet.
